Lake Mateos Bass Lodge is located on a picturesque hillside overlooking the Humaya River, the primary river feeding Lake Mateos. Constructed in 1986, and having recently undergone a major renovation and expansion, the lodge houses twenty guests. All rooms contain air-conditioning and have daily maid service. They have private bathrooms and showers, pedestal sinks and American style elongated toilets. The lodge is the only existing fishing camp on the lake, meaning that unlike other crowded lakes in Mexico, these pristine waters are yours alone to fish. Located high into the Sierra Madre Mountain range, there are few distractions at Lake Mateos Bass Lodge. You will fly commercial airlines to Culiacan Upon arrival, you will be met at the gate by our English-speaking representative, who will shuttle you to the lodge. The trip takes 45 minutes via a four lane highway. If you choose to fly to Mazatlan or Los Mochis, there is a $200.00 per person pick-up/drop off charge.
